How It All Started
NitroRitas came to life as a way to memorialize the pioneer of the Funny Car, Al Vanderwoude, the Flying Dutchman. The idea came from trying to find a use for the last Top Fuel motor that powered the final Flying Dutchman Funny Car build.
Our plan is to bring our NitroRita machine to everyone who has never experienced the power, sound, and smell of a nitro burning 11,000 horsepower motor. Not only that, they’ll be able to enjoy the cool, refreshing, great taste of a sugar free NitroRita. NitroRitas is working on their own tropical drink line, as well as, developing clothing apparel that will be available in many popular stores.
